Well, I read about this topic and the lecture showed how many companies try to do the time life of their products were in short time, in order to people can purchase again and so.
Thats a big problem. It started 1932. Since then, the planned obsolescence was get for many companies because they saw the products that companies made have a great duration, Companies thought if they made good products, people could not purchase again their products and so they can lose a lot money. So companies decided to make products with a short period of life.
Nowadays, the majority of companies follow this idea: We can see in many productos such as cellphones' batteries (the time life of a battery is 1 or two yeas) or the bulb lights.
The effect that Planned Obsolescence produce is the residues increase and increase, all of the pollute the environment.
In my opinion, I think If companies produce their products to offer people, companies must offer an alternative to recicle them, in order to save the world.
Think about that.

Most big companies in the world just think about getting money, increase profits and not interested in causing harm to others especially to the environment. A percentage of the money they get should be used to reduce these injuries and to help countries where human poverty is extreme.
