Industrial design is a combination of applied art and science, where by the aesthetics, ergonomics, and usability of products may be improved for marketability and production.
The role of and industrial designer is to create and execute design solutions towars problems of forms, usability, physical ergonomics, marketing, brand development and sales.
The objective of inductrial design is to study both function and form, and the connection between product and the user.
Industrial designer do not design gears or motors that make machines move, or the circuits that control the movement, but they can affect technical aspects through usability design and form relationships.

I think that the industrial designers don't invented new things, they just try to improve things that exist and sometimes they make people believe that there are new products that are necessary for life
