NELSON MANDELA
Nelson Mandela was a man who fought to human rights. He is one of the most important person who made an important contribution about peace in the world.
He was born in Qunu, South Africa in July 18 , 1918,his frist languague is Xhosa. About his family his parents were Gadla and Nodekeni and his 3 sisters.He got married three times. His first wife was Evelyn Ntoko in 1944 later he met a Winnie Madikizela in 1958 and finally his third wife was Graca Machel in 1998.
He studied in Mission Schoo; Union college of Fort Hare, later after he finished high school he studied law in Johannesburg.His first job was herding familiys cattle.He joined African National Congress in 1942 His positions in ANC were in 1947: Youth league Secretary after in 1952: Deputy Head of ANC and finally in 1991: President of ANC.His goal of ANC were to end the unjust system of apartheid in South Africa.
His two bigs goals were that he was the first democratically elected president of South Africa in 1994-1999 with the 62% of vote.After that he was sentenced to life term for anti-government activities; released after 27 years , february 11, 1990.
Later he was denominated the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993
After his retirement he raised money for children´s charities
His favorite time of day is sunset as he had one hobby that is listening to music his favorite music is classical.
