Dear editors:

I'm writing about your article on Adbusters. I like me very much the idea of TV turnoff week because in my opinion is an interesting idea to improve little by little the activities in free time with the family or friends.

First of all, the family can be speaking about issues in the house. They might be more talkative and might to find solution to some problems.

Then people or families will play board games like to chess, monopoly or checkers. This strategy games help to use the brain in memorize and quit the stress.

And finally the TV turnoff week would help to motivate people to practice some sports and listen music in his free time.

"Quit watching, start living" means star a new life without idleness; start a life with more activities, more dialog and fewer problems or stress.

Dear Editor:

               I am writing about your article on adbusters. I especially liked one on TV watching. In my opinion, TV turnoff week is a great idea. First of all, many families could spend more time with their children, they could go to the park and breathe fresh air while they practice any sports as volleyball, soccer and basketball, they would talk about the future or things that happen in their lives and it would improve the relationship between parents and children. Secondly, it could reduce the visual problems as myopia, since many studies have revealed that people who are exposed for a longer time in front of the television most frequently have problems of fatigue in the eyes. Finally the persons can spend less electricity or energy and, they can prevent the global warming, in addition to saving money.

Dear Editor:

I'm writing about your article on adbusters. What caught my attention  is Buy Nothing Day because I buy three products per day. In my opinion Buy Nothing Day is a great idea.

First of all if we don't would buy nothing only one day we could save a lot of money, second is that so we will stop the contamination of so much garbage, so finally people would take awareness that our planet is being destroyed but still there are many ways to save our planet and so to live in a world free of contamination.

I´m  writing about  your article. I really liked a lot.
I´m my opinion, TV turnoff Week is a great idea.
For one thing, the people will be living in a place
without noiseand with this... they  won´t  have stress.
Second by the people save energy and money. Also
they would spend time with their relatives, playing or
sleeping. To finish I think it could be possible if we
work hard.... slowly.

   I'm writing about your article on Adbusters. 

I especially liked the one on TV watching. In
my opinion, TV turnoff week is a great idea.

 

To begin, the pollution is increase in the world 

and I think that all can help to keep the world

turning off TVs only for a week to save energy

and use it to something more necessary. 

Then I think that actually the people spend their

free time in watch TV and the family time were

lost. Now is more know the life of an actor than

our relative life. We need to remember that the

family is first and take time to enjoy it.

To finish, the times have changed and the kids

lose their infancy for watch TV because there 

are any programs that aren't appropriate for 

them for the teaching that give us. Time ago 

the kids prefered play that watch TV and we 

can rescue good infancy times.

"What are some advantages and disadvantages about wearing uniforms at school"

              Until about 10 years ago all the schools had the same uniform the students wore the same gray uniform but now every school has its own style, color , and design of uniform. So what is the matter? Some students think that wearing uniform is unnecessary but their parents and other student think that it's necessary, so let's see some advantages and disadvantages about it.

              For many parents wearing uniforms at school is necessary since it teaches to their kids to keep the order and organization, it teaches them to be a neat and presentable person, since when they finish the school they will work in different jobs and of course they will wear suits and they need to be prepared for that since they are studying at schools. Some parents think that even though the students wear uniform some of them remain dirty, some of them  use odd hair styles, wear piercings, some female students use to enough make up and they look like clowns and I've heard that some female students even look like street walkers and all these things happen even so they wear uniform,  can you imagine what would happen if wearing uniform weren't compulsory? I'm sure they will seem like punkies or even gangsters from slums very soon.

             On the other hand several students are uncomfortable wearing uniforms, of course they would like to go to their school wearing casual clothes or sweat suits, some of them say they would be happier not wearing uniforms and they also say they could improve their scores at schools.

            In my opinion the students are not awareness that wearing uniform teaches them how to be more neat and organized person, furthermore they only need to wear uniform by some years after that they could wear as they like the most.
