I read an article about Facebook and how it is becoming part of our lifes. Mark Zuckerberg created it with the purpose of mantaining the world joined and communicated. He says, "When I started making Facebook, [my parents] were, like, don't make another site." Then all his Harvard classmates - as well as students from the rest of the Ivy League - joined, and he spent the remainder of his college money on servers. So much for school.
With Facebook, people, especially teenagers, spend almost 169 minuts surfing on it and also is growing at the astounding rate of about five million new users a week. Incredible right?? But is normal for us to enter to internet, then to Facebook and there we start looking for our friends new pictures, for their new states, for their relationshionships, etc. So uncounsciously we are part of all those people who is depending of facebook more and more. The fact that Facebook lets us do all that in digital form and we can have our real life friends and relatives in contact all the time is amazing, but we shoud also think that in some cases it is dominating lives and that is not correct. This network is really helpful because you can find some people and communicate with them, also you can share your pictures of experiences that you really enjoyed; however there are some people who does not use it well and they want to hurt other people, also, others waste their time doing things without a purpose, That is why i think we should understand the correct menaning of Facebook and take the best of it.
