THE GAY MARRIAGE

I am sure that some time in your life, you have seen two men or two women walking on the street seized of the hand. I know that what you first think when you see them, is that they are homosexual people, of course they are, and are better known as gays because of the sexual orientation that they have, nowadays this topic is very controversial around the world.
Although, many think that the gay marriage
isn’t correct, and I think that all the people is free of choose whatever they want.

Firstly, many people say that the gay marriage is not an equality problem, but they are wrong because all the humans are equals, and everybody has the same rights. Also, laws should be for everyone and no matter if someone is heterosexual or not. We are free for choosing what thing is going to make us happy.

Secondly, they say that the law that allows the gay marriage would generate a chaos in the Record of Adoption (Two mothers? Two fathers?); however, the current adoption law doesn’t demand that a person should be heterosexual to adopt. Today many gay couples adopted children by one of their members, or conceived through assisted fertilization methods.

Finally, the marriage is an institution essentially heterosexual, and the gay marriage implies distorting the concept of marriage, but the marriage is a civil and not a religious issue. Each religion evaluates if they want to accept it or not.

In short, although many people are against of the gay marriage, all should think that every person is free to take their decision. If they are happy being gays, we have to understand them and respect what they want to be and how they want to live.
