SHOULD  MARIGUANA BE LEGALIZED?

For many years, mariguana was one of the most spoken issue around the world. So there was a debate between people who consider mariguana should not be legal because it is a drug, and people who consider mariguana should be legal. According to British government, they spend 500 millions of dollars a year trying to overcome with indiscriminate exportation of mariguana, and United States spends billions of dollars annually on the war of drug; for instance, in 1999 the U.K stated that 42,209 people were convicted of mariguana charges, clogging courts and overcrowding prisons.  Although many countries are spending a lot of money trying to prevent the growth of the industry of mariguana. I believe that mariguana should be legalized to improve the economy and the quality of live of all people around the world.

Opponents claim that mariguana is considered the first slip in developing addiction to harder drugs, and they also consider mariguana more dangerous than other drugs like heroin and amphetamines. However, they are totally wrong. Despite the fact what they claim are irrelevant. Other research shows that mariguana do not develop the addiction on people , nevertheless, what causes people become an addict are other types of drugs that people find in their town; for example, alcohol and cigarettes. Annually more than 400.000 people death as a result of alcohol, the same happens with cigarettes because of tobacco. While mariguana will do nothing more than put someone to sleep. So people have to understand that what is legal in each country cause millions of deaths; however, mariguana is illegal because of nothing.

Opponents also claim that government does not spend enough money in the nprevention of the industrialization of mariguana. However, I believe government spend too much meney in something that is not grave than othae important issues; for example, rape, pollution, or poverty. A economist Jeorge Smith said, if mariguana could be legalized United States would have a better economy because the taxes that people who work with mariguana could be used to prevent other important things, and the recreational use of mariguana will not stimulate crime like some would argue.

The final argument advanced by opponents is that lung cancer rates would likely increase. However, this research is irrelevant because there are not any probe that can confirm this research. Other research shows that mariguana have some benefits for people health. Dr. Lester Grispon said, "Not only mariguana healp people releave nauseas suffered by cancer patience to undergoing powerful chemotherapy but also it is used by patiences who have multiple sclerosis, claucoma, and AIDs". So mariguana is good for people who are suffering from illnesses  mariguana help them to overcome with the pain.

It should be evident that the arguments against mariguana as legal are not valid. On the contrary, people must be careful about what drugs they will consume because drugs are in every where, the only thing that people can do is to know which of them are dangerous .
