1.- Express opinions, doubts, confusions, and convictions that come to your mind as you think about what you have read. Watch and write about how these things change over time. Include title of book, article, magazine, etc. that you are reading.
I read an article titled “HOW TO TELL THE TRUTH WHEN IT HURTS”. This article helped to me to be honest in a good way without hurting someone’s feelings specially with a loved person. The article shows four main tips that I would like to share. The first tip is to be preparated before saying something in order to remember all the things that you really want to say, so if you are the kind of person who always forget things you can write all the things that you want to say. The other tip is to sit your loved down and start saying them that you have to share something that is not good, don’t make your loved think that you are going to give him or her good news because it would worsen the situation. The other tip is to tell it like it is. It is important to call everything by its name, otherwise you could make your loved feel confused. Finally, give your loved your shoulder to cry, this action demostrate that you are trully sorry and that this person is really important for you. Personally, I liked the first tip because one mistake that most people make is to start talking with someone about something really bad without organizing their ideas before and at the end they regret about what they didn't say, so it is really important to remember this tip.
2.- Pick out 5 lexical items (verbs, phrasal verbs, expressions, fillers, etc.) and write down examples of at least 2 different meanings of the lexical item.
