FINAL WRITING N° 2: CUASE/EFFECT ESSAY

GLOBAL WARMING
            One of the biggest issues facing us right now is global warming. Its affects on animals and on agriculture are indeed frightening and the effects on the human population are even scarier. Also the causes of global warming are mainly from us and the effects on us will be severe.
            Global warming is caused by greenhouse effect. Greenhouse gases in the atmosphere act like a mirror and reflect back to the Earth a part of the heat radiation, Which would otherwise be lost to space; for example, the emission of carbon dioxide en into the environment mainly from burning of fossil fuels such as, an oil, gas, petrol, kerosene and the methane emission from animals, agriculture such as a rice paddies and from Arctic seabed.”(sorce:NOAA)”.
            Another cause of global warning is deforestation especially forest for wood, pulp and farmland. Forest remove and store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and this deforestation releases large amounts of carbon, as well as reducing the amount of carbon capture on the planet.
            However some effects of global warming will affects us and produce changes in our life if we don’t take conscious about it.
            The effect of global warming is that increase of the temperature on the Earth. According to research published in nature, by 2050, rising temperatures could lead to the extinction of more than a million species and people can’t exist without a diverse population of species on Earth. Also Chris Tomas, a Conversation Biologist at the University of Leeds says “climate change now represents at least as great as treat to the number of species surviving on earth as habitant-destruction and modification”; for instance; the changes in temperature and precipitation patters increase the frequency, duration and intensity of the extreme weather such as, floods, droughts, tornadoes, etc.
            Other effect of global warming include rise of sea levels worldwide. Scientists predict an increase in sea levels worldwide due to the melting of two massive ice sheets in Antarctica and Greenland. However, many nations around the world will experience the effects of rising sea levels, which could displace millions of people.
            In conclusion, we are responsible of global warming as consequence of greenhouse gases produces by us; consequently, we appreciate the effects that it cause around the world. Also we need to think to reduce contamination that produce global warming in order to have live more years in this world.

    I enjoy reading your essay. Global Warming is a really worrying issue that corcern to all of us, and I think that it´s time to do something for our planet. Your essay is really informative and give us clear examples of what could happen if we keep damaging the Earth because we are main cause of Global Warming, and it should´nt be in that way.

    That was a nice reading and very important info, thanks a lot, the fact that deforestation is a consequence proves that these actions are really poisonous to life and a real destruction of this amazing planet, don't know what do people seek by doing this but for sure it's not the way humanity was meant to grow.
