THE SIMPSONS vs FAMILY GUY
As we know Simpsons and family guy are american animated series produced by their directors: Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy) and Matt Groening (The Simpsons), also both are watched on FOX channel.
Furthermore, The Simpsons is a middle-class family which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson who lives in a town called Springfield, and Famil
y Guy is about the Griffins, a family whose members are the parents Peter and Lois, their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie, and Brian, a dog with human similarities, also they are located in the town of Quahog, Rhode Island. However, there are some differences about these series which some opiniones disagreed and others agreed. Therefore it is important to know the differences and similarities of both tv series.
One difference is the people's preference about both series. According to Reader's digest report of september 2009, Readers Ratings, states that people think Family guy is funnier than The Simpsons (10). I t means that people prefere the kind of humor which drives crazy one with gallant characters, but many agree that any chapter of The Simpsons is eassier to remember than Family Guy's.

ering those words that most of the time Homer says like Ouch!Ouh! Yuhuu! Those words became part of a cultural language, but Family Guy do not have much influence on people, or have yo
u ever seen someone shouting "propane!"?
And third, the difference of their products. The Simpsons have selled many products like the famous colacan Buzz Cola in real life, also their videogames are popular because of their adaptationsin many game consoles and their movie which earned millions of dollars; in contrast, Family guy produced only two video games which did not have much success tha The Simpsons and its future movie which was criticized by many producers like a copy of the Simpsons and others, like a great way to show who is better.
In conclusion, As Family Guy and The Simpsons, both have different kind of audience which prefers their humorism; however both TVseries are the most successful in the last decade, and both discuss about the sime situation: the absurdities of american daily life.

the simpsons finished their era back in 2003-2004 then it became an american cultural show, while family guy has a strategic way of adding many jokes into a single scene that has worked well, still it got to be the only show were all characters are disgusting(different from futurama, simpsons, south park, american dad, etc) for my own opinion i think south park beats all those shows mentioned above.
