THIRD WRITING - COMPARISON/ CONTRAST ORGANIZATION
SHEILA AND JAMPIERE (TWO FRIENDS): DIFFERENT BUT ALIKE
Hi, I'm friend from sheila and Jampiere. Dininitely there are a lot of similarities and differences
between them. Once we had an incident on a trip. Somebody had stolen our money of the hotel; we were really concerned about it. In that moment I noticed the differences between them. Sheila was worried about it, but she never gave up to resolve that incident; Sheila was really optimistic, whereas Jampiere was pessimistic. He said that nobody would help us resolve that incident; he only said negative things about it; in contrast, she said possitive things and tried to resolve it. However, Sheila and Jampiere share other similarities like the same personality . . . she and he seem totally opposite.
One obvious difference is the way of thinking about something. Jampiere is pessimistic when he thinks about something; however, Sheila's optimistic. He is more cynical and believes life will always be difficult and painful. He tends to expect the worst and sees only problems. She confronts with the same situations, expects the best. White he may give up, she will look on the bright side and instead of seeing a problem, will see a solution.
Another difference between Jampiere and Sheila is different tastes in fashion. She likes to wear conservative clothes, whereas he prefers more eccentric outfits. He thinks he looks good in his flashy clothes, but she thinks his style is unattractive.
In spite of these differences these two apparently opposite views share several important things.
Both Sheila and Jampiere have the same personality. She's a real people person , as he is. Both are outgoing and friendly; for example, when they go out on the weekend and know a new person they make that person fells well and comfortable. In addition to that, Sheila and Jampiere are similar in helping other people, they are really compassionate persons. Sheila admires people who give up everthing to help people who have nothing and really looks up to them for their sacrifice, jus as Jampiere does.
A final similarity is that both Sheila and Jampiere have always emphasized the importance of our their health. They think it's really indispensable for their lifes; without it, they can't do anything because the health is the essential part of their bodies.
Lastly, Sheila and Jampiere are different, yet alike. Athough the two differ in many things such as different thinking, different tastes in fashion, they share more than one common thing. Furthermore, their differences probably comtribute as much as their similarities toward the mutual improvement of both.
Well, my essay is correctly formatted(title contered, firts line of every paragraph indented and double-spaced). In addition to that, I checked punctuation and capitalization. My essay has all three parts: introduction, body, and conclusion. I used block organization in my essay and inserted transition paragraph between the two blocks. My introduction has a funny story and it ends with my thesis statement. Likewisw, the body of my essay has four paragraphs; each paragraph discusses only one main idea. Moreover, my essay has coherence I repeated key nouns and used transition signals comparison/ contrast signal words to show relationships among ideas. In addition to that, I used transitions to link paragraphs. Finally, my conclusion is summarized the main points of my essay.
