1. - Express opinions, doubts, confusions, and convictions that come to your mind as you think about what you have read. Watch and write about how these things change over time. Include title of book, article, magazine, etc. that you are reading.

I read a good article titled "Telling Your Kids That Santa does not exist." I chose this article because as Christmas is soon to arrive one question came to my mind. What is the best way to tell a child the truth about Santa Claus?. The article was interesting because it teaches you to be honest without hurting children feelings. The article mentions that it is better to continue telling your kids that Santa Clause exist if they are still young to understand some difficult things to explain. I believe that it is better to go step by step without going directly to the point because children are not enough mature to understand many things and it’s important they keep “Cristmas magic” as pat of their chilhood. The article mentions that parents should ask children, "What do you think about Santa" because by their answer parents can know if their kids are ready to let go of Santa. I am totally agree because by a response of the children parents will know their maturity to understand many things. However, when it's time to tell the truth it is better to start teaching children the real story of Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus). This advice drew my attention because I think it is a good idea to tell kids the truth with a funny story such as "Saint Nick and his love to kids" because children will be focussed in the story and they will understand better the real meaning of christmas wich is the love as Saint Nick shared with children.
Finally , I made a conclusion, It is part of the childhood to believe in magic things such as Santa Claus. However, it's better to tell children the truth about Santa's origin and it’s real meaning of Christmas “the love and compassion”. I am sure they would like your honesty in this good way.
