1 .-Express opinions, doubts, confusions, and convictions that come to your mind as you think about what you have read. Watch and write about how these things change over time. Include title of book, article, magazine, etc. that you are reading.

·         Well, I read an interesting article on the internet whose title is THE GREATEST HOAXES OF ALL TIME. I decided to read it because its tittle drew my attention, and I really enjoyed reading that article, so it is about five hoaxes which became so well – known over the time between people who consider those stories as hilarious, questionable and unsolvable. The hoaxes that mention the article are Reattaching Manhattan, Dead Man's Float, The Loch Ness Monster, Eat Popcorn, and Fairy Tale.

However, I like the last one since it is hilarious for me. It is about two women who asserted that they had discovered and photographed "fairies" in the English Village Of Cottingley. The fairies photo which was taken in 1917 became a national fascination in the U. S., and several photography experts who examined the pictures declared them free of retouching, as consequence of that most people were so surprised and started believing in fairies. But it was all much simpler than that, so in the early 1980s, the women admitted they had posed with paper cutouts supported by hatpins.

Finally, what I can say is that hoaxes have always been and are part of the human history and don not change over time because people will go ahead telling stories like them. So it depends on each of us if we are going to believe or not in them, but in opinion they are stories to entertain us.
